What it replaces

Worth doing the arithmetic before the conversation with your finance director, because the comparison is not against another tool. It is against an afternoon.

One prevented mail outage

A day of a client's mail queued at the sender, the escalation, the apology and the credit. Most MSPs price that between four and five figures. A ten-engineer Team licence is £590 a month.

Onboarding a junior

Weeks of a senior shadowing every DNS change, or a junior who is productive from week one because the platform will not let them apply what they have not demonstrated.

The audit you cannot evidence

ISO 27001 or a customer security review arriving with no record of who changed what. The audit trail is a by-product here rather than a project.

Pricing questions

How much does DNSMentor cost?

DNSMentor is priced per engineer per month, not per domain. Core is £29, Team is £59 and Practice is £99 per engineer per month when billed monthly, or £24, £49 and £82 respectively when billed annually — annual billing is two months free. Domains, zones, records, changes and connected providers are unlimited on every tier.

Why is DNSMentor priced per engineer rather than per domain?

Because per-domain pricing charges you more for winning the client that made the tool worth buying, and it prices the thing that costs us nothing to serve. What the platform actually manages is the number of people who can take a client offline, so that is what it counts. Adding the client that doubled your estate does not change your bill.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 7 days of full Team features with no card required and no limit on seats during the trial. You connect a real provider, import a real estate and put real changes through the checks. Nothing is ever applied without somebody pressing apply.

Who counts as an engineer for billing?

Anybody with an account that can compose or apply a change. Read-only accounts — for account managers, service desk staff or a client contact who only needs to see evidence — are not billed on any tier.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

Your zones live at your DNS providers and always did; DNSMentor never becomes the authoritative copy, so cancelling does not affect resolution for a single client. You can export the audit trail and your estate data on the way out. Nothing about the platform is designed to make leaving awkward.

Do you offer a discount for annual billing?

Yes — annual billing is two months free, which works out at roughly 17% off. There is no minimum contract term on monthly billing.

Try it for 7 days.

Full Team features, no card, and a real estate connected to a real provider. If it has not earned its place by day seven, do nothing and it stops.

No card. No trial clock. UK-hosted, and we will tell you which providers we have actually proven before you ask.
