Administration
Set up Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on
How do I configure SSO for DNSMentor?
Single sign-on is available on the Practice tier. In Admin → Settings → Authentication, supply your directory (tenant) ID and consent to the application. Users then sign in with their work accounts and your conditional access policies apply.
# What you need
- Your Microsoft Entra directory (tenant) ID.
- An administrator who can grant tenant-wide consent.
- The Practice tier, or a trial of it.
# Why it is worth doing
Not for the convenience of one fewer password, but for offboarding. An engineer who leaves loses DNS access to every client estate the moment their directory account is disabled, without anybody having to remember DNSMentor exists.
Turning SSO on does not immediately remove password sign-in for existing users — you enforce that separately, once you have confirmed everybody can get in.
