Evidence training for an audit

1 min read · 2 related

How do I show an auditor that my engineers are trained?

Admin → Reports produces a training compliance report: who has completed which modules, when, and what score. Combined with the audit trail it evidences both that changes were authorised and that the people making them were competent — the two questions ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials assessors ask.

# What the report contains

  • Each engineer, their current skill level and when it was reached.
  • Modules completed, with dates and scores.
  • Learning paths assigned by role and progress against them.
  • Outstanding modules, so you can close gaps before an assessment rather than during it.

# Why the two halves matter together

An audit trail proves a change was authorised. A training record proves the person authorising it knew what they were authorising. Assessors increasingly ask for both, and most MSPs can produce neither for DNS.
